Discovery & Definition

We began with a discovery phase, enabling us to quickly get up to speed with the work the Electric Outdoors team had already completed. Once immersed in their product, the team mapped out user journeys for multiple user-types and feature-sets that enable key experiences. From there, the team moved into initial wireframes with the goal of crafting an effortless and enjoyable camping experience.

Once initial wireframes were complete, the team began focusing on coordinating the experience between mobile app and canopy. Key sequences of booking, locating, checking-in, control & customization and check-out were defined as the Passage team worked closely with the Electric Outdoors technology team.

Design to Development

By leveraging Flutterflow, the Passage team was able to move quickly from pixels to code, ultimately publishing the Electric Outdoors app across iOS, Android and web in less than two months. By leveraging new technologies, the team was able to work extremely efficiently without compromising functionality culminating in a launch in time for the Detroit Auto Show.
